Requests for public records are to be made in writing through the completion of the public records request form to the custodian of records, the Board Secretary. The completed form will not be considered received until it is received by the custodian of records office. Public records requests will be acted upon within seven business days.
Certain public records may be available for inspection in the Custodian of Records Office Board or related information may be posted on the New Jersey Department of Education’s website. Please note that you may be denied access to a government record if your request would substantially disrupt district operations and the custodian of records is unable to reach a reasonable solution with you.
If you have a question in regard to public records, please contact the Custodian of Records Office at 201-796-8700, extension # 2980.
