The Elmwood Park Media Center is located in the main corridor between Wing 2 and 3. Media Center Hours are7:30 AM-3:30 PM. A student may come to the Media Center from class or lunch with a teacher’s pass only.  Passes are not needed before or after school. You must have the internet permission form signed to access the internet.

SAVING DOCUMENTS

You must use a USB Flash Drive in order to save any work while using the MAC computers in the media center. They can be purchased at any office or computer store, as well as many other stores.

Electronic Card Catalog

The electronic card catalog, also known as BELS and BCCLS is easy and fun to use.

• Bergen Electronic Library for Schools (BELS) is the catalog used to search for materials housed in school media centers
• Bergen County Cooperative Library System (BCCLS) is the catalog used to search for materials housed in public libraries
• search by title, author or keyword
• searches result in number of copies, availability and school and/or town location
• title page is displayed for brief summary, author, etc.
