Vocal Music Classes

     Welcome to the Miss Clear’s Vocal Music web page.  Music education is more than just training future musicians – much more. It is an essential part of training good, young brains. Children use large portions of their “gray matter” when processing music. It is something that helps build global brain use and helps students to connect things they learn in music with things learned in other subjects. It is no wonder students who study music generally do better in all subjects!

     Students are learning about rhythm, pitch, and notation. Each grade level studies these skills at different levels appropriate to the student’s age and ability. We also spend part of each music lesson learning and practicing songs, some of which will be performed in our Winter Concerts in December.
