Mrs. Reeves’ Fifth Grade Happenings

Mrs. Reeves’ fifth graders are off and running. The class is hard at work at all their subjects. The children are learning all about decimals and place value in math. Reading kicked off with some interesting stories about honesty and children of the past. During Science class, the kids are learning the differences between plant and animal cells, as well as, the basic life functions of all living things. As a class, we are practicing our writing skills everyday with a daily journal topic. The class is very interested in learning and this should prove to be a great year for everyone.
