Miss Pollack’s Grade 4 Happenings

Welcome to Miss Pollack’s Grade 4 class! I look forward to a very exciting and rewarding 2007-2008 school year. We will be learning new and exciting things across the curriculum. So far, we have explored our home state of New Jersey in Social Studies. The students completed colorful booklets to depict our state highlights and symbols. Of all the exciting story selections in reading, the students enjoyed reading about the art of pottery making in Children of Clay. Upon completing the story and learning about a different culture, the children created their own pottery using all the techniques they learned about.

What amazing imaginations and artists! Each day brings a new learning experience to my students in so many ways. In addition, we are sharpening our study skills, and working hard to prepare for the upcoming NJASK4. Have a great year!
