Welcome to the Fourth Grade!

Fall 2008

 Mrs. Clark & Mrs. Cascetta are excited to begin another wonderful school year.  We hope you have noticed our Social Studies unit begins with New Jersey.  Each class has been working on a variety of activities involving our state’s symbols.  We will continue to study New Jersey until the New Year, when we turn our attention to the other 49 states.

“DO NOW!” is one math activity we complete daily on a variety of math topics.  Students have shown how much they have mastered so far.  We can’t wait to expand on their mathematical knowledge.

In reading, each month we cover a different book report theme/project.  We are happy to supply the novels for many of the upcoming months.  Currently, each class is reading a different novel and look forward to swapping our books next month.  Don’t forget your chapter notes!

We are off to a great start and have a bright future ahead.
